codeMantra congratulates Continuum on winning the "Independent Publisher Guild’s" Publisher of the Year award.

codeMantra Client Continuum Honored as IPG Publisher of the Year.

(March 10, 2011, London, UK) Continuum, a long-time client of codeMantra’s and an early adopter of collectionPoint™ , has been named the 2011 Publisher of the Year by Britain's Independent Publishers Guild. The IPG cites Continuum's business turn-around through successful sales, marketing and database management initiatives.

"This is a compelling story of a company that has turned itself around in challenging economic times,"said the IPG jury. "Line by line and piece by piece, Continuum has put itself back together again, and in doing so offers lessons for all independent publishers. This is Continuum's moment."

Continuum was further honored with the Ingram Academic & Professional Publisher of the Year Award and singled-out for the development of its print-on-demand program, XML-based workflows, improved database management and its progressive ebook platform.

"The work we have done with codeMantra to digitize our list and better manage our digital assets through collectionPoint played a significant role in our success," said Oliver Gadsby, Continuum CEO.

Continuum has been a customer of codeMantra's since 2007. The publisher archives and accesses its digital assets and distributes them to both the commercial and the supply side of its business through codeMantra's collectionPoint DAM and digital warehouse.

"We congratulate Continuum and salute its management for their continued innovation and audacious strides to blend digital technologies and opportunities with a traditional publishing agenda," said Walter Walker, codeMantra Director of Publishing Services.
